Dr. Hilary Landorf

Dr. Hilary Landorf is the Director of the Office of Global Learning Initiatives and an associate professor in the College of Education at Florida International University. She is responsible for overall management and supervision of the development, design and implementation of Global Learning for Global Citizenship, FIU’s 10-year strategic plan for implementation of an integrated curriculum and co-curriculum global learning requirement for over 34,000 undergraduates at FIU.

She has published over 30 articles and book chapters on international education, has been an internationalization consultant to several colleges and universities, and given over a hundred presentations and workshops on the development, implementation, leadership, and assessment of international teaching and learning in K-20 settings.

Dr. Landorf has a Ph.D. in International Education from New York University, an M.A. in English from the University of Virginia, and a B.A. in English with Honors from Stanford University. She has served as Director of Secretariat of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), where she was responsible for overall management of all aspects of CIES, the largest of 35 comparative and international academic societies in the world, with over 2500 academics, practitioners, and students, and approximately 1000 institutions.
